Bevk’s homestead was called \u201cPri Volarju\u201d where the writer spent his childhood and teenage years. The homestead is now a museum. In the basement there is a small barn, on the ground floor there are a doorway and a kitchen with a hearth and the main living area with a brick stove, and also a small bedroom. The attic has been redesigned into a large exhibition space where we can see documents, books, photos which refer to the writer’s life. <\/p>\n
France Bevk formed national awareness and faith in a better future among his fellow countrymen during the most difficult times through his work. His stories and novels often describe places and people under Kojca in his childhood and youth.<\/p>\n
